**Simultaneous release on leetNEET
A Little Bit of History:
To say the least, Radical Dreamers has quite a bit of story behind it. Intended as an official sequel to the critically acclaimed Chrono Trigger, the game was something that many people were looking for at the time. Starved for a sequel to one of the greatest games ever and combined with the fact that most of the original Chrono Trigger team was returning to develop Radical Dreamers, it’s no surprise. Sadly though, the game ended up plagued with a variety of issues—the most notable of which was the production schedule. Ultimately, this rushed schedule would result in Masato Kato’s team finishing the game in a record three months and releasing it in 1996… at the cost of the game being labeled “unfinished” and being nothing like the RPG it was intended to be. The story behind Radical Dreamers would eventually form the foundation of Chrono Cross however, which is now widely considered the official canon sequel and was released in 1999 (JP)/2000(NA).

With every endeavor comes a beginning, an origin. Results come not from idleness, ideas merely ideas when not acted upon, views useless if not expressed. Today is that beginning for Zephyr’s Compass
: a blog culminating from years of thinking and experience, a yearning to reach out to the world, and a desire to make a difference in my own way.
And thus, from Zephyr (Commie Fansubs, leetNEET, Random Curiosity) comes a blog about writing, photography, life, and everything in between.
This is Launch Week, where I will attempt to post 7 articles in 7 days.
And this is the start—I hope—of something special.

EDIT (5/22): Estimated launch date is 5/30.
Welcome to Zephyr’s Compass!
It seems like you’ve arrived a bit early though, as I’m still getting the site ready. The current ETA for the site’s launch is late May. To bide some time until then, I’ve put up a few pages (you’ll see them on the top) that I hope will give you an impression of what I wish to do here at Zephyr’s Compass, as well as a quick look into my writing style and the things I do in my free time.
Spread the word and thanks for coming! I’ll be modifying the site randomly until my finals are over in a few weeks. Once they’re over, you can expect a post at least one a week. So I’ll check you guys back in a few.
